North Trail Back To School Events

Nonprofit shop The Coffee Loft will host two back-to-school events, starting Saturday.

The first is the Hunger's Not A Game event, Saturday where you can drop off food for the Mayors' Feed The Hungry food bank program at The Coffee Loft and be entered in for a chance to win theHunger Games DVD that will be released Saturday or a Hunger Games book. It's happening all day. The Coffee Loft is open 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday.

Nonprofit Coffee Shop Opens on Tamiami Trail

The Coffee Loft (www.coffeeloft41.com), a nonprofit, organic and fair trade coffee shop owned by Woodland Community Church of Bradenton, celebrated its grand opening last Friday. It is located at 5025 N. Tamiami Trail in Sarasota.
